I am overseas. > I am only interested in teaching in class.
At present we are not accepting applications for "in-class only" teaching positions. Even though the lessons in all of our programs are set to be delivered face-to-face on campus for the Fall 2022 term, it is still possible that the method of lesson delivery will be switched to online teaching due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Entering Japan
Please refer to the Application Information for the Fall 2022 Term regarding the current conditions which would need to be met in order to enter Japan. We also need to be prepared for any changes that the Japanese government make with regard to restrictions or conditions for entering Japan.
Potential Requirements for Instructors
Westgate will need to meet the requests of our client schools and universities, as well as follow any local or governmental guidelines. These could include requirements made by either individual organisations or by governmental bodies for instructors to be vaccinated or to be regularly tested for COVID-19. Due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, and since the requests from our clients vary, it is difficult for us to make general decisions or announcements which will be true for all of our positions. However, please understand that Westgate needs to be prepared for each of the following teaching scenarios:
- Instructors may be required to teach in class for the full duration of the term.
- Instructors may be required to teach online for the full duration of the term.
- Instructors may be required to teach in class at the start of the term, but then move to online teaching.
- Instructors may be required to teach online at the start of the term, but then move to in-class teaching.
- Instructors may be required to be present on campus, and to provide online lessons from there.
Please understand that such a decision by our clients may come at the very last minute and we are currently unable to guarantee the availability of any specific teaching setting in advance.
